The publication and these conditions

PeopleIL’s website, peopleil.org, provides editorial reading about education, careers and society. The operator’s terms apply only where there is a valid agreement under applicable law. Declining agreement means avoiding features that require it. Correspondence about these conditions can go to [email protected].

A basis for reading, not an individual assessment

Content may include opinion, incomplete information or details that later change. It is not guaranteed accurate or current. Confirm important points with primary sources or qualified professionals. Education and career coverage does not assess individual needs, promise employment or replace institution-specific requirements. Examples should be understood in their particular context.

Protected text and other material is owned or lawfully used by the operator, whether through permission, licensing or another authority. Personal reading and linking are allowed. Secure permission for reproduction, republication or commercial exploitation unless a legal exception applies, including fair use. Third-party marks remain theirs; mentions do not automatically create affiliations.

Participation has limits

You must be entitled to provide material in a message and should omit unnecessary confidential records. The inquiry permits its receipt, review and response, not an unlimited right to publish private correspondence. A separate agreement should establish extra rights needed for publication or commissioned work.

Do not misuse features through unauthorized access, defeated restrictions, malware, disruption or automated overload. Threatening, unlawful, deceptive and spam communications are prohibited. Reasonably necessary access restrictions can protect the site or address such misuse.

Offers elsewhere

Advertising, sponsored items or affiliate links may be present. A qualifying referral can generate commission, with material commercial relationships disclosed where relevant. Neither placement nor a link guarantees a result or offering. Review seller terms before transacting. Independent services control their conditions, security and availability. Their purchases, bookings, accounts, fulfillment and support remain with the provider; links do not create partnerships or transfer responsibility here.

Qualifications and revisions

As far as law permits, the website is offered as available without warranties of uninterrupted access, freedom from error or fitness for a particular purpose. Only lawful exclusions apply to indirect and consequential losses caused by use or unavailable access. Consumer protections and other nonwaivable rights, remedies and liabilities are not displaced.
